“A wonderful experience.”
Reviewed November 11, 2009

I had read reviews on this restaurant before heading to PV. They were all right on the money. Great food, great service, friendly homey Mexican atmosphere and outstanding value. Ex-pat Chef Eric recommended our dinner for us. 1 vegetable fajitas and 1 pork loin dinner with 1 corona. The total was less than $10.00. It's too bad we were only there one day.

“Very personal touches, from the food to the decor!”
Reviewed November 2, 2009

Our snorkeling guide recommended this restaurant, and he did a great job. We met the chef and when we asked him for some help deciding what to order, he offered to put together a special tasting menu for us and prepared 4 different courses for us (total bill $30 US dollars) as well as gave us a shot of some very strong liquor!

The decor is very unique and there is lots to look at. No view of the beach, but you don't even care when you're there.

“Best Experience in PV”
Reviewed October 8, 2009

We wandered into this comfortable little cafe with welcoming doors open wide to a mellow street a few blocks away from the main drag after a long day of exploration. There were 7 or 8 of us gringos dragging out kids and feet. As soon as we say down the people here started to make us feel right at home. We were with a couple who are vegetarians and had already eaten, but they were still kind enough to bring out some vegi tostadas when we all ate. "On the house! Everyone needs a snack!" Then when we commented on the Luchiador masks and art, they asked if we like wrestling and a few of us said they were fans of it in the US they all suddenly dissappeared... a ruckus in the kitchen... then the whole staff (4) came out playfighting in Luchiador masks and ribbing us on in our laughter. So fun and friendly.

The food, homemade everything. Fresh. Snappy. Delicious. We even liked this place enough to come back 2 days later (I ordered the daily catch of Red Snapper. Terriific!)

The people, wonderful, and friendly.

If there was a complaint, it would be that the fumes from the road could be troublesome. The buses seem to blow their exhaust right into the joint. Not withstanding, this is the favorite of not just myself, but 6-7 others.

Best place we found. Will go again when I have the opportunity!
