In my recent visit to Puerto Vallarta, I ate here twice once for lunch and once for dinner. The lunch was prix fixe. There were 4 of us and each chose a different lunch. The lunch menu was sort of continental meets mexican. Everything was outstanding and the prices were cheap. It was one of the best meals I had on the trip, and the food in Puerto Vallarta was generally excellent. For dinner, the menu was smaller, and all of our table chose traditional Mexican entrees. The food was definitely "neuvo" mexicano with an emphasis on fresh ingredients, light on grease/fat and great presentations. As an aside, the margaritas were outstanding.

Get ready to have one of your tastiest meals ever.....I'm not kidding. Memo Wulff is the wonder-chef who will dazzle your taste buds. He trained for 3 years at a culinary academy in San Francisco and comes from a restaurant family. This man has got the skills and then some. The food is authentic Mexican food made from scratch that is so affordable you'll have to pinch yourself. They're open for lunch and dinner everyday. The lunch meals are a set menu that change everyday for around $5-$6 and the dinners are traditional mexican dishes that run around $10-$12. And if you're in a pickle and can't decide what you want, Memo can whip up something original for you on the spot. He's a creative genius. And yes, there are delectable options for vegetarians too! Also, on Monday, Wednesdays and Friday nights there is a lovely Mexican Folk band called Folkra that includes a violin, pan pipes, guitars and a drummer...and they play at the perfect volume, you can still hear your conversation. Finally, the ambiance is colorful and charming and is the perfect backdrop for my favorite food in all of Puerto Vallarta! Thank you Memo!!!!
