If you are not sure of what you really want, head to the Sirloin Stockade in Gallerias Mall in Puerto Vallarta. They have everything you could want, seafood, beef, chicken, stir fry and great salad bar. Everything is fresh and I have never had a bad meal here. Watch for specials, they usually have a discount after 7PM but you need to check. It usually ends up being half price of the regular cost. Definitely worth every peso!

For years we have seen this Buffet in the mall next to Wal-Mart. Every year we have run out of time before getting there, so after years of missing it we went. The cashier was great and made you feel at home. The prices were OK, but nothing to get excited about. The serving staff and bus persons were great too, but that is where it ended. The “Roast Beef” was the best food they had, but it sure was not a regular American “Roast Beef”. Missed the fresh horseradish. It was a minute cut of beef with grizzled through the center, definitely not a prime cut. The sausage was left on my plate after one bite. It did not seem too have a meat taste, rather tasted like dry filler. The Hawaiian ham seemed to be a loaf pressed together rather than a normal ham. Chicken was good and as were the grill items that were freshly cooked. Salads were OK too. The soups and breads were excellent!!! The deserts were average at best, but limited choices for a buffet. The best was the yogurt and soft serve ice cream. Do not regret going, but not on the top of my list for a return. One of the few place we have been here were Canadians and Americans outnumbered the locals while we were there.

We usually stop at this resto for lunch on our way to Wallmart. My wife finds the salad items very good and I go mostly for the soups and meats. Vegetarian or carnivore, you will find a good assortment of items to choose from. The place is very clean with good service and slightly expensive for PV.

Everything just seemed old, like it was settin for a long time. The Ice Tea was a terrible sweet tea. The meat was over done and the Mngolian BarbQue was just so so. Last few times I have been here it was MUCH better.

Been here a few years ago, and stopped before a movie at the Cinemax in Liverpool Mall in early January 2013. Two buffets were $262.00 peso, plus sodas for $66.00 peso for two (unlimited refills). Two for one deals are after 7pm. Lots of variety of food, but lots of Mexican Nationals here, so kids running around, and very noisy. Good deal if you are sick of sit down restaurants and want to see what you eat.
