“Disappointing!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

First I have to say that the walk up to the restaurant was an interesting & fun experience, straight up hill with lots of stairs. The view was incredible but that is where our satisfaction with the restaurant ended. The waiter was very attentive until he took our order and then we hardly saw him. The food was ok but not what you would expect for the price, the presentation was average. We did enjoy our banana's flambe prepared at our table by a different waiter. We chose this restaurant based on the reviews so maybe we hit it on an off night.

“What a view!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

One of my favorite restaurants in PV. Great ambiance and an incredible view of Bahia de Banderas. If you ask they will show you the entire place. Its basically a 7 story house on the hill above Old Town and the restaurant uses the top two floors. Its so cool, if it starts to rain and you are dining on the balcony, which I highly recommend, they roll a tin roof out to cover the balcony. The food is excellent, seafood especially, and they make their own vanilla flavored tequila of which you get to sample. I would recommend an evening reservation that gets you there at dusk so you get a good view of the city in daylight and also watch a wonderful sunset. The view of the city and bay below is spectacular at night.

“Views forever and the best steak in years!!!”
Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

My husband & I hit this place on a lark. Our original destination was nixed so we punted and headed to Palomar. After making a wicked ascent into the hills above the Romantic zone we were greeted at our taxi door by a young man who escorted upstairs to our ringside table. The view and cool breezes were breath-taking. We enjoyed a wonderful Ceasar salad prepared table side followed by the most delicious beef steaks. The portions were so generous we both left with doggie bags. As for service, the waiters could not have been more accomadating. For instance, when a squall rolled in as our dinner was ending we & our table were quickly and expertly whisked to cover. Quite a sight!

Bottom line: It ain't cheap, but if you want a memorable evening above the din of discos and street barkers, give this place a try!!

“Excellent food with great view”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

I have been to this restaurant several times over the years, but not in 5 or 6 years. Glad to see that it still has excellent food with great service, and a beautiful view. The dinng area is open air, with most of it covered by a roof. The drinks are good and cold. The service is impeccable without being intrusive. I always come here for a meal anytime I am in Puerto Vallarta. Price is moderate for this good of an experience.

“Memorable evening”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our time here after our excursion got cancelled because of a tropical storm. I was leery about leaving our resort in the pouring rain, but I was assured that we would stay dry and have a wonderful meal. From the adventurous cab ride up the mountain to the restaurant to the food to the awesome view, we had a night I think all of us will remember. Definitely would recommend!
