A group of five of us were headed to another restaurant when a person at the front of this restaurant insisted that we try Si Senor for lunch. I reluctantly went along with this arm twisting. We were seated inside looking out on the busy street. A harpist was playing which was wonderful and relaxing. Drinks were ordered and delivered as well as chips. Our group discussed and didn't think the chips were as good as others they had tasted so we decided not to order lunch. The manager in charge was gracious in giving us complimentary guacamole at the table and trying hard to earn our business. We ultimately decided to move on to the original restaurant and the manager was very nice about our decision, only asking why we didn't stay for lunch.

Have always intended to try this place so we stopped by this morning for breakfast. Ordered eggs over-easy with bacon as per one of their breakfast specials, a pretty simple order, or so we thought. When our dishes finally arrived, eggs were rock-hard which was easy to see at first glance. So I gently and politely asked for what we had ordered. Ten or so minutes later a second plate arrived. Humorously eggs arrived with centers cut open and they were obviously soft, ok fine! They must prepare breakfast items ahead of time and serve as needed because the entirely breakfast was almost ice cold and pretty disgusting. Then..when our bill arrived there was an extra charge and when we finally found our waiter to ask what it was, he said the bacon with our eggs & bacon was an extra charge. I asked to see a menu again to confirm this but after more than 15 more minutes he didn't show-up. After explaining this to three more staff at the front desk they agreed to remove the charge from our bill as if they were doing us some sort of favour. Not doing this one again!

2 complaints really. The prices are way out of line. Check around on some other menus and you'll see, everything is about 20-30% more expesive. A friend of ours wanted to go so we joined her for the evening. I ordered fish tacos ($170 pesos) and when it came I was shocked. Three small soft wheat tortillias rolled up with some cabbage and a fish stick in the middle. A small dish of (probably an avocado whirled with mayonnaise) was served on the side. No colour or garnish on the plate - probably the ugliest, blandest meal I have ever been served here in PV. The taste was just OK, after I asked for some limes and hot sauce.

We have been served some spectacular tasting and stunning looking fish tacos over the previous years and have never paid more than $120 pesos.

MUCH better than expected.... Expecting a tourist-centric, nothing special food cash register type place. Found a great location, attentive staff, and a wonderful lunch. The tacos del pescada were outstanding, more than expected with several great sauces to bring out different flavors. The standard green salad with grilled shrimp and balsamic was light and refreshing. There was even a harp player who, despite being a harp player, was a real treat as he sang and told about the songs genesis, it's author, etc. good find!

This is a few blocks up the hill from the Boardwalk, but an easy walk. The atmosphere is so cool. Most of the tables are outside on the hill, with tropical trees and plants. The food presentation and the staff was amazing! The Fresa margarita was the best I've ever had and the staff kept bringing us food and drinks to try. The manager stopped by several times to chat. My only regret is that we went there the last night, as we would have gone again. With food and several drinks each, we still only spent about $40 per person.
