Description: Teatro Limón is Puerto Vallarta's finest interactive dining experience. Sit back and enjoy a relaxing meal or take part in the creation and enjoyment of a gourmet meal designed by (or with) talented Canadian Chef, Bruce Byng. You find no boring fixed menu here, Teatro Limon's innovative plates constantly changing. And while Bruce continually strives to come up with exciting new approaches to beloved classics, he is unwavering in his insistence on premium quality and absolute freshness. Be as involved as you want. Or, Opt to sit back and soak in the good things that come to you in the cheery torch-lit terrace under the stars. Or, make yourself comfortable in the open kitchen and be part of the action. Every cocktail imaginable comes out of the fully stocked bar just the way you like it and wine pairings are suggested, with several vintages available by the glass. All in all, an evening at Teatro Limón is an unforgettable and yes, somewhat theatrical experience, ideal for sharing with family, a group of friends or that special someone. Teatro Limon is located in the heart of Old town on Basilio badillo 229 on the upper level of Cocco's Market Bistro Cafe

We had Valentine's dinner at Teatro Limon and it was a fantastic experience. The fixed menu changes each evening. You let Bruce know if you prefer meat or fish and he takes care of the rest.
All the food was delicious from the broccoli soup to the main courses which ranged from snapper to lamb chops to short ribs. The chocolate cake was a lovely ending to the meal.
Highly recommend

My wife and I went to Teatro limon on January 24th to celebrate our one year anniversary. Unbeknownst to us, Bruce had received our reservation before deciding to close the restaurant for the night to do some training with another chef. However, unbelievably, he left it open just for us! It was an amazing meal and experience, from the soup course right on through to the dessert, every taste, every perfectly cooked and creatively and deliciously seasoned bite was better than it`s predecessor. It was, to say the least, the best meal we had ever had. I had become convinced that the only place to get a good steak was at a premium steakhouse somewhere in the United States because they had corn fed, grass fed, or Kobe beef, and Canada generally had grain fed. And obviously, Mexico wasn`t the place to go for a great steak. Bruce, cooking Canadian beef in a Mexican Restaurant proved all that wrong, and forced me to change my entire outlook on good steak.
But the meal was only half of the experience. Bruce paired the meal with a lovely bottle of wine, he explained each and every course to us, he rhapsodized on the peaceful nature of Saskatchewanians (where we live and where he once lived) and shared old memories of the city I live in and love, he invited us to share a drink with him and his wonderful wife on the patio where we spent the rest of the night telling stories and enjoying each others company; he was, in short, the perfect host.
So thank you Bruce and Julia for making our first year anniversary one to remember, and I wish you nothing but success and happiness, from Kate and myself to you, all the best!

Last week 6 of us went to Teatro Limon for dinner. We had heard you can have a cooking demonstration and a few of us really liked the idea. They told us to get there early when we made our reservation. We did and the fun started immediately! The Chef and owner, Bruce, is a master and really knows how to entertain, keep your attention, and most of all cook! Our evening lasted three hours and we had numerous amazing courses, some of which were part of our cooking demonstration. There is no menu. Bruce asks if there are things you don't like and goes from there. Teatro means "Theater" in Spanish and we were not disappointed! You won't be either!

We eat out at many resurants around the world in search of the best of the best. Teatro limon I would have to rate in the top ten. In New York, London, Paris, or Los Angles you would probably pay double and not have the food customized to match your palate the way Bruce does it. So you are not only entertained by Bruce you get a meal to die for.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to any one with a special occasion or night out.

Last night we had dinner with 2 other couples and what an experience. First Bruce asked if we had any food allergies then he proceeded to wow us with his special dishes. He only uses the freshest of ingredients.
We're from San Francisco and Theatro LImon ranks right up there with the best in San Francisco.
