While we normally use town restaurants, or cook in, the Sunday Brunch at La Villata is a worthwhile luxury. With a huge variety - all good, bottomless champaigne, and live high quality music. You can indulge and over indulge for about 5 hours. A large our door section compliments the enormous palpa section. I especially liked the cerviche, and tacos al pastor. A generous selection of fresh fruit rounds out the fare for me. It's a little pricey at 390/each, but for a special experience worth it.

during recent trip to puerto vallarta we visited la villita at the sheraton twice. the breakfast offered great fresh fruit and a wonderful omelet bar. there were so many things to choose from which made for an interesting breakfast. we enjoyed enchiladas en mole poblano for dinner. some of their prices are a little high but overall not a bad place to eat. glad we did not get the all-inclusive since we would not have wanted to eat at la villita all the time.

the service was excellent and prompt. the restaurant could use a little more ambience. we liked that it was open to the outside and that they had mariachis on sunday but other than that it's a little bland for mexico.

This restaurant is in the Sheraton Buganvilias just north of downtown in the hotel zone. They are open for breakfast and lunch each day overlooking the beach under a towering palapa roof. The Sunday Brunch (9-2) is not to be missed! There are numerous tables of hot and cold breakfast & lunch entrees, unlimited champagne and a wonderful mariachi band providing music. Plan to spend a leisurely time having brunch and enjoying the view. The daily breakfast buffet is also good, but a little pricey for breakfast; they also have ala carte.
