We really enjoyed the restaurant. I do not remember anything special about the food, it was good, but the location of the restaurant and it staff is enough to make me return; and it is a simple walk of a few blocks to the Malecon after dinner for a stroll before going home. Now about the staff. Well, the first table we sat at was next to a noisy child, the staff moved us to another table with also a great view and a wonderful fan for the warm night. I then realized I had lost my phone in the taxi, the staff quickly called the phone, the driver heard it ringing, answered the phone, and the next day dropped it off at my hotel. Yes, they, as well as the taxi driver, got a very nice tip, almost as much as the iPhone costs, but it was worth it. These are great honorable people, go there, have fun.

We got the paella which was SO GOOD. It was probably the most expensive paella on the menu. You have to order all of them 45 mins ahead of time as they take a while to cook. I think it was worth the money. But there are many more items to order that are much cheaper, and just as good. The bacon wrapped dates ARE TO DIE FOR. We got there too early I think. Around 6, and had to wait a while for sunset, we never felt rushed. But would have been nice to get there closer to 7 7:30, Beautiful sunset views, and great service. Order 2 tapas a person and share. It will be more than enough, and you get to try a variety!

We came here because of the name and our passion for tapas. This was "Restaurant Week," but it seemed rather odd to us to get a three meal dinner at a tapas place!
We had a small appetizer (potato salad), served ex-menu, and then we had four tapas servings: The warm spinach salad with pine nuts (juicy and flavorful), the three melted cheese plate (tasty), the chicken skewers and the angus beef skewers (both juicy, flavorful and tasty, especially the beef which comes with caramelized onions and cube fries.)
It was a surprise for us that this restaurant has a view. It was well worth the climb of some flights of stairs, as the view of down down, behind a church, was spectacular.
Service is great, cordial and quick. The waiters are fluent in English and are always happy to explain to the guests what a tapas meal is.

Restaraunt week was the reason we went there. To get there you climbed a steeeeep hill and then 4 flights of stairs straight up to the sky. The view was great and the staff nice. I know this was an Tapas place, but I expect a lot more after our work out to get there. The soup was OK, but took a lot of pepper to bring out some of the taste. The brread was great. The main course was two small Angus Beef Brochette. Little flavor just cooked and stuck on a stick. The desert was the best - banana sauteed in carmel. Unfortunately the banana alone did not justify the cost [even during restaraunt week with up to 50% discount]. One of our other in our party had the melted cheese dish which came with lots of toast. Just melted cheese in a sauce and toast was not considered a good dish and he decided not to eat it. This was our 4th restaraunt week eatery and to date it was the most disappointing.
