Tino's is located on the second floor above Starbucks one block before the Malecon. This restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver. Even though we asked him for ideas, we were pretty certain he got a kick back from the restaurant . It was fun to watch the traffic below us at the intersection and the near misses on the turn. We also learned about how the taxi cabs have to move out of line and take turns for their next fare
Overall this was a nice place to dine. The shrimp were gigantic and the portions generous We had shrimp shish-kabob which was very good, as well as, chicken fajitas. For drinks we had a margarita and sangria, both were very good. The total for this was about 40 dollars. They also take credit cards. This is a place the locals know about, but there were lots of gringos eating there.
