Drinks were great, guacamole was great. We were given several free shots. Entertaining and friendly service. Worth coming to.

“Time share salesman”
Reviewed September 21, 2012 via mobile

We wanted to stop for lunch so we decided this was the place. Ordered beverages and food and that was all good. Then this salesman kept popping by our table to "chat". Was getting very annoying. Wouldnt leave us alone. Then the info card came out of his pocket and it all made sense. Kinda ruined our lunch. The food was good. Guacamole was very good. Just be warned and tell him from the start. If he's not the waiter he's looking to sell something.

“You kind of just have to.”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

We stopped in at Senor Frog's for a quick drink before heading somewhere else for dinner. We had been once before on a previous trip, when some serious late-night dancing was on order. Sure it was a little cheesy, but we'd had fun and that's what counts. Based on that visit I'd have rated them a 4, but this visit kind of squashed them down a little for me. This time around we weren't there to dance it up, but still felt like when you're in town, you kind of just have to at least pop in once. So we went, it was still early maybe around 5:30 or so, so there were only a few other people in there. One of those guys who encourage people to come in at the front door of the bars and restaurants escorted us in. He stayed to chat for a little while, was very friendly, then went back to the door to round up more people. He came back after a little while and started chatting again, and this time he just... kind of didn't go away again. He was nice enough, he'd lived some places we were also very familiar with so we compared notes on favorite restaurants and whatnot. But then he just kept lingering beyond the point where you normally would wrap up the polite chatter, and it started to seem a little weird. We ordered a second round and I was hoping he'd go away so we could have some time alone and then go on to dinner. He left again but then right away was back, this time with a map with properties noted on it. And yep you guessed it - the time share sales pitch started right up. I know, it's Senor Frog's and it's tourist central, so it's probably decent hunting grounds, but come on. Super lame. All we wanted was a nice quiet pre-dinner drink and instead we got the sales pitch we'd happily avoided the entire rest of the trip. We'll probably still pop in for a cold one on a future visit, but lesson learned - if some randon person seems just a little overly chatty and you're in a tourist trap already, there's probably a reason why. Be warned - don't get sucked in by his friendly chatter unless you want the sales pitch too!

“Loud, rude & unnaceptable”
Reviewed August 6, 2012 via mobile

Took family in for the first time ever after I had told them all how much fun it was.
We walked in & were shuffled off to a table near the bar.
A girl started running around our table with a very loud whistle & a bottle.
She grabbed us one by one and tried to pour this drink down our throat. I said no and pushed her hand away but that didnt sway her. She went behind my sister & law who finally agreed to drink, then she reached around and grabbed my sister in laws breasts and laughed and then told us we had to pay $20 for the booze.
We argued while she proceeded to blow that stupid whistle. Instead of sticking around, we took our newly formed headaches and walked out.
What happened to señor frogs?

“Not Much fun”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

The original spot is now closed. This one may not be around much longer. Food was average, but service was very slow.
