There are surprisingly a lot of restaurant choices for chinese food in Puerto Vallarta. This one is very good. It's just about a block from the malecon, with a nice covered patio where we comfortably waited out a pounding rainstorm.

We started with the dumplings, served with a soy-onion-jalapeno sauce, a great spicy-salty-sweet combination. My friend had the classic kung pao chicken -- big chunks of chicken breast with spicy sauce and peanuts. Spicier than the usual American version, but without the scorching whole peppers you have to scrape to the side. I had the pork loin, sliced thin and stir-fried with sweet peppers and onions. Very nice.

The cost is a little more than normal U.S. chinese fare, but it's good quality. Next time I have a jones for chinese food in PV, this is where I'll go.

Tired of Mexican food in Mexico? Try Peking, you won't be disappointed. Busy with a recent move, we ate here twice in the last couple of weeks. Quiet intimate atmosphere in the outside seating area which is nicely separated from the street by plants and lights. the service was efficient and friendly. Portions are large. We recommend the Chinese "ravioli" as an appetizer. The tuna entree is divine. Coated with finely chopped nuts and seared to perfection. Also enjoyed Kung Pao chicken and the broccoli beer. Prices are very reasonable. Wines by the glass are inexpensive and quite acceptable.

We were craving Chinese food and tried Peking. It was excellent! The dumplings are great, chow mein is very good, and the chicken in peanut sauce is outstanding. Everything is prepared to order with very fresh ingredients. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was romantic and intimate. We had a lovely romantic evening with great Chinese food!
We will definitely return!

After all the years of coming to Puerto Vallarta and saying 'I can't eat Chinese in Mexico", I was convinced to give it a try. Sure is a breath of fresh air from the tacos, enchiladas, fish, shrimp, and shrimp. 4 of us all had different dishes and shared them. There was enough to share with half the restaurant. They have a very large menu, but if you don't see what you want, ask the waiter, they will give you almost anything. Service was very good, and the drinks about average. All orders came hot and tasted very good. If you need a break from all the local food, don't be afraid to try this place.

this place makes the best pineapple shrimp and orange chicken......however, the service in this place is the worst and the place needs more than 1 server. its food keeps you coming back inspite of the lack of service.
