“We love this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

We travel to Puerto Vallarta each winter. We have our favorite stops and Fredy's Tucan is one of them. They are so reasonable and the food so good. We always have a great experience. Clean, reasonable, delicious breakfast and lunch too. Don't miss this spot. When you are done eating make a right out the door and stop at Lalo Morello's for a glance at his beautiful purses too!

By the way Giovanni was our waiter at Fredy's Tucan the last visit we had. Did I say we were there two times this visit! Wow great place.

“Couldn't stay away ....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013

What a way to start a morning ... Good coffee, friendly staff and great food. A great value with fast service. No wonder there's a line to get in most mornings. We ate there every morning ... and will continue to do so in the future!

“My grand breakfast accomplishment!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

Food
- Free toast w/ homemade jam and butter
- Guy brings around danishes for 8 pesos each - definitely try one
- Our greatest accomplishment - carne asada plate with chilequilles, tortillas, beans, and eggs. The carne asada was really juicy and flavorful. Got my eggs scrambled, but there was so much food I had to take them and half the carne asada to go. Pico and salsa that they brought out with it was really good too.
- My wife had vegetarian eggs benny was pretty tasty too, but nothing special. Hashbrowns were "ok."
Ambience felt like a busy breakfast house in the USA like Ihop or something. I felt everything was very clean, but it was a hot morning and they only had fans and no AC.

Note that they don't take credit cards too. They have a sign up that it's to keep prices low, but it still bothers me. :)

Check this place out and get the Grand Accomplishment thing I described. It's only 118 pesos and you feel oddly accomplished after eating it. :)

“Wonderful breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

In past trips to PV, we have gone to Memo's Pancake House for a large breakfast one day. This year, Fredy's Tucan was recommended to us, so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. It was clean, busy and had excellent food. They have a large menu that will appeal to anyone and the service was great with many young people providing service to a busy Saturday morning crowd. Prices are very good, quality was excellent and the portions were sizeable. It does get crowded by mid-morning ... there were about 20 people waiting outside to be seated by 11 am so go early!

“Great Breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

This is a great breakfast place to get a good base for a day of walking the city or beach drinking. The food is really good quality and service is also spot on. Good coffee. Every morning they have a server walking around with amazing pastries that you can buy for 70 pesos while waiting for your food. We ate here three mornings out of six while in PV- great place!
