This house had two bedrooms for our use and joining bathrooms on on second level. Enjoyed the balcony off the main bedroom. The kitchen, located on main level along with sitting area and a dining room area/table. Kitchen was very well equipped and had a great gas stove. View from rooftop, accessed by spiral staircase, was wonderful. We did feel the lack of a couch but appreciation the two large chairs provided. We were a bit surprised that the house does not have a heat source and the roof has open air sides.
We loved being close to a local market for fresh produce and fish/chicken/meat along with some sidewalk eating spots. Only three blocks down to the beach and Malecon! We spent lots of beach time enjoying the warm weather in Mazatlan (wonderful city) and walking on the Malecon. Location has easy access to buses and local pulmonias plus taxicabs.
Lori was super easy to communicate with and provided us with great local information. House keeping service provided was very welcome.
Enjoyed our month stay here. Thought we would get a better price by booking longer but unfortunately we didn't so rather expensive but still enjoyable. The unit was clean & spacious. Easy walking distance to markets & Beach. Noisy strip joint 1 block below us which caused many a sleepless nights! At times it seemed like the city never slept!
My two teenage boys love the atmosphere in the courtyard where there are plants. It was nice to be able to cook our own food we bought from the market in the old city. The beach access was convenient and close. I would definitely stay there again should I go back.
