My hotel was right on the main street but further from the boardwalk itself. It was about a 10 minute walk but I could have walked that whole street day and night every day.

Ecellent for walking and getting some sun! Excellent views and a great breeze off the ocean! 13 miles long that runs North to South its one of the longest seafront walkways in the world!

Make sure that you are wearing comfortable shoes and a hat! It's a long walk... Try to get off the bus close to the old town area - more interesting... continue to the water fountain area.

Maybe not the best area for 16-25 year olds, but still a hustling and bustling place for young and older couples. Obviously a lot of beach vendors, but not aggressive in any way. The beach is nice, with plenty of opportunities for drinks and snacks

Sorry I can't remember how long it is but worth riding on the bike path, jogging, or just a leisurely walk. Was all redone last year.
