“Worth a stop!”

What a great place. The people who work at Onilikan were so helpful and friendly. The spirits are fantastic...favourite is the Mango Liqueur... great on its own or as an addition to a Mango Margarita. The place itself is beautiful with an amazing copper still right in the front. It is a beautifully restored space in the Gold Zone. Worth many repeat visits, just have to get back to Mazatlan. Second best would be to find find the liqueur at home!

“Top Shelf Spirits”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Onilikan Artisan Liquors distills the best Agave Liquor in Mazatlan. Maybe Mexico. Their copper still, a rare import from Germany, is the centerpiece of their clean and beautiful tasting room. It is the only still of its kind in Sinaloa. You can sample all of their products including a selection of agave and mango spirits. I recommend the Licor de Arrayan, a delicious distillation of a cherry-like fruit unique to Mazatlan. Their Agave Liquor was smooth and more delicious than any tequila I have sampled. They also sell a selection of chocolates, dried fruits, nuts that you can also sample. Their dried mangoes come in a variety of flavors and pair great with the spirits selection.
The staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The owner was there during our visit. She was very kind and helpful. We bought several bottles of the Licor de Arrayan and White Agave Liquor, and cannot wait to visit again next year. I work in the distilling industry myself, and I was highly impressed by this budding business in Mazatlan. This place is a must if you are a spirit enthusiast.

“It's worth the pesos!”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

The distillery is a wonderful place to visit - interesting machinery and produces a great product. Brought some home, but we are hoping that Onilikan gets more widely distributed in Western Canada -- otherwise we'll just have to return to MZT for more! For a great mango margarita -- whiz up ice with mango liqueur, tequila, and frozen mango concentrate!!

“Friendly People”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

We found this place on line before we went to Mazatlan. We have been coming to Mazatlan for over 5 years and didn't see this place last year. We went there this time and what agreat place. The girl who greeted us told us about how they made it and then let us sample. Needless to say we bought 3 bottles. We gave one to a friend in Mazatlan and ended up drinking the other 2 with friends. We then had to go back to buy another bottle. I love the mango liquor. Can't wait to share it with my friends in Portland, Or. When we come back next year we will definitely go back for more. Great place.

“Love this Tequila!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

I recently visited the Onilikan Artisan Liquors in Mazatlan and was totally impressed by the presence of their facility. It was clean, beautiful, the bottles of teguillas and lquors were nicely displayed and the huge distillery displayed in their lobby was not only beautiful to look at and but interesting to learn how the tequilla is processed through it. There were the barrels that hold the tequilla until it is aged properly all lined up, new, neat, and clean. It was such a pleasant experience.

To add to that the tasting was wonderful. I got to taste their Award Winning Blue AgaveTequilla, Mango Tequilla, and Liquors. My favorite was the Blue Agave Liquor; just right for a night cap! That's the one I bought!! They have wonderful natural chocolates and dried fruits along with other souvenirs for purchase.

I highly recommend any visitor to Mazatlan to visit this facility and see for yourself. Congratulations Onilikan Artesan Liquors on winning #1 in the recent Trade Show of Tequillas and Liquors. #1 first time out speaks volumes
