“EXCEPTIONAL”

Great food, and the best coffee in Mexico. A little hard to find as the Cerritos location is accessible by the bus, Toreo, or Cerritos, jurrez . Great beach, world class surfing. Expats and locals love it.

“The best coffee”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013

My fiancée and I were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to check out the looney bean, after that we did not have hotel coffee one more day. Their house black coffee is delicious and it's a perfect place to sit and watch all the morning happenings on the malecon.

“great lil cafe just north of the Riu”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

Took a lovely walk on the beach from our hotel, the Riu, to the Looney Bean , every morning to enjoy one of their great smoothies. A nice change of pace when you just can't eat any more buffet food...until lunch time that is ;)

“So, so wonderful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013

This was a brilliant little find past the Playa Brujas restaurant-- much like a Mexican Starbucks but with actual flair. Plus, this shop is nestled inbetween great knickknack shopping. About a 15 minute walk from the RIU Hotel.

“Our favorite spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

Where we stay is just a short walk down the beach from the Cerritos strip and this coffee shop, and it's our favorite haunt when we're in town. Excellent smoothies, good breakfast, great coffee and a selection of muffins and pastries are on hand as well as surf board rentals and friendly service. You can sit in a rocking chair the shade and read or grab a smoothie to go and walk down to Playa Bruhas, just 5 min away. Most staff speak English well and are a great resource of you have questions about the area. Open for breakfast and lunch winter through spring.
