Over 3 km of pristine, virtually deserted beach. Great quality condos. One of the best golf courses in Mexico. Two restaurants, one in the clubhouse and one in the hotel. Condos and building lots for sale. Half hour drive into Mazatlan, 10 minutes to Stone Island.

Stayed: March 2016, traveled as a couple

My wife loves this place because of the quiet solitude and beauty of the beach. Amazingly nice beach. Restaurant at the hotel, as well as the one at the golf course are reasonably priced and good food. Nice friendly and attentive staff.

Room Tip: Almost all the rooms are ocean view. Only 3 floors. 2nd and 3rd floor best.

I've stayed here four times on our trips back to the US. It's one of the better places I've stay in. If you like golf they have a very nice course and the pools and beach are great too. It's out of town and close to the airport. They don't have any night life so if you're looking for that you should go to the golden zone.

Room Tip: just ask for the room that fits your needs

My husband and I loved the fact that we had literally had the resort to ourselves. We swam in the infinity pool, and a club golf cart transported us to the clubhouse for a fabulous dinner under a palaypa. The ocean view rooms are spacious and you can drink the water from the tap...USA standards applied. Granite kitchen tops and elegant throughout. PGA championship course...and a turtle sanctuary on site. Just five minutes from the airport. Rent a cab and feel the excitement of the longest, busiest, people filled malecon in Mexico. Rent a bike and cruise the malecon, then return to the Estrella to relax in luxury.

Room Tip: This resort is for those who enjoy QUIET retreats

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Hotel looked like ghost town, service was terrible, our room flooded 2 times during a 5 day stay. Only 1 restaurant with the same food every day, amenities like pool & sauna are like a house, also gym is falling apart ( outdated, covered with rust no a/c.
You can't swim on the beach since is covered by rocks. There is nothing close to the hotel the city is around 30-40 min drive.
Save your money and go some place else.

Room Tip: Golf Course
