On our recent visit to Mazatlan after a 5 year absense, we found Carlos and Lucia's across the street from their previous location. It didn't take long to feel at home again. Carlos and his son in law Marty make sure your visit is perfect. We must recommend the ribs! My husband is a 'rib connoisseur' and still talks about how good they were. We had 3 dinners there this trip, and also invited family to come as well. We were not disappointed, Looking forward to going back again soon.

On my recent trip to Mazatlan, one of many in the past 20 years, I visited this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews and had an awesome experience. The food was fabulous and the service was fun and made me feel like I was part of the family. Marty makes the best mojito...EVER and Carlos is great to talk to. We were so impressed that we referred another visiting couple to visit this establishment. Looking forward to our next Mazatlan adventure which will also include a visit to Carlos & Lucias

A small "hole in the wall" style restaurant with plenty of character!
My wife and I enjoyed a night out in Mazatlan and decided to try something new in town rather than the usual boring "Mexican Plate" at some regular touristy restaurant! A Cuban & Mexican family ran restaurant offering tasters some flavors of Cuba! While the restaurant doesn't offer the best scenic views or lavish romantic setting it does offer a feeling of being home and being made a wonderful home cooked meal with service that will leave a smile on your face and enjoying every minute you are there! The hand scratch mojitos are to die for! Carlos & Lucia's is a must if you are staying in Mazatlan!!!
It should be noted that the restaurant is across the street from the (formerly Holiday Inn) The Palms Resort.

we liked carlos & lucia's a lot and have been there a few times each time we come to mazatlan.

this restaurant is close to our hotel, only a few bus stops from our hotel, the pueblo bonito, so it's very convenient.

the food was very good and service was great. we thoroughly enjoy ourselves every time we stop there.

This was walking distance from El Cid El Moro and we happened to walk by it one evening looking for a place to eat. We were thrilled to find it. The food was great, as was the service. The "ropa vieja" was just delicious. The owner is very friendly and he recommended some great dishes. We would return.
