Excellent Bed and Breakfast in the middle of historic Mazatlan! I stayed at this place for three days in august and wish I had more time to enjoy a pleasant environment it provides. Obviously it is not a luxury hotel like the one around the corner, but it has it's rustic charm, it's also clean and spacious. It's like living in a 18th century house. It's very affordable and right in the middle of the one of the most beautiful colonial plazas in Mexico. My desire was to get to know historical part of town and I completed my mission just by walking around, never used a taxi. The best restaurants, coffe places, bars and night spots, all just few steps away.To me, personally it is very important to be in such colonial or european environment. Small clean sandy beach is just 3 minutes walk from hotel. Second highest natural lighthouse in the world also in walking distance. It took me 11 minutes to climb all the way to the top wearing flip-flops, so you may try to bit my record. Hotel's managers are ones of the sweetest and kindest people I have met in my life

The hotel itself was clean and air conditioned. Stylish enough and basic enough to meet our budget as backpackers. The hotel man really our made our experience here though by being so helpful and friendly! We had the most amazing fruit and granola breakfast I have ever known. We´d finish each plate and he would just keep bringing more. We even tried cactus. The $600MX a night was well worth it for the breakfast! I would recommend anyone staying in Mazatlan to check this place out, the location in centro historico is great.
