Nice restaurant, very good food and an excellent service. At the Plaza Machado, in Old Mazatlán, last restaurant on the right. Best time to go is for dinner and on weekends, then you can enjoy music at the Plaza as well.

Set on the corner of the Plaza in the Old Town. We ate there before going to a show at Teatro Angela Peralta. Service was excellent, very friendly. Food was fantastic - the best shrimp ever. Say "hello" to "Wisconsin"!

Great , decent service with decent Mexican dishes without fanfare. Some tourists make it to here, but not too many, thankfully.

We were so relieved to finally find somewhere with GOOD Mexican food, instead of the usual tourist fare. This place is in Plaza Machado, and had a live (very talented) band playing on Saturday night. The band was playing outside, so everyone in the square could enjoy.

The service was fabulous. The food was also very delicious, if a little salty. I ordered the Mexican Platter, with a chili relleno, tamale, steak, beans, rice, guacamole, and tortillas. My boyfriend ordered the Mexican Molcajete. Yum! Came in a sizzling bowl. Very flavorful.

They were also super nice about letting us stay as long as we wanted to enjoy the band, long after we'd finished spending money. I appreciated this, as a lot of places were pretty rude.

One criticism: the bathroom smelled bad.
