While this lovely little place in Centro District has wonderful bread, pastries and other fine desserts, it also has superb sandwichs and other menu items. I has delicious spaghetti, my companion enjoyed kische (sp?), and another friend enjoyed wonderful honey ham sandwhich a special taste bread. Seating is limited so get there early for dinner.

For the best bread, come early, it sells out by lunch time. Hector Peniche the owner and chef is a classically trained chef who loves to prepare wonderful food, and the prices are great. My personal favorites are Pasta Puttanesca, and the Grilled Swordfish sandwich. The cheesecake is to die for if you have room. The atmosphere is very simple, and you probably need a reservation in the evening. Walk in for lunch if you are near the Plaza Machado.

Everything is wonderful here. Great value for money. Best coffee in Mazatlan. The secret is out! The special cakes are delicious . . . I always seem to go for the flourless chocolate though. I have tried them all. Fresh lemonade, creme brulee, fresh roasted honey ham sandwich, special salads and pastas. People are beginning to catch on and the nights are very very busy. They make a beautiful sourdour too. The bread is very special to me . . . I love it so. It would be dreadful not to have Molika down the road . . . am I spoilt? yes yes yes

First time I went here was with a group of "Gringo's" after church. Wonderful coffee and pastries, great bread. It can get quite crowded and a table can be difficult to obtain at times but "to go" works too.
