This is a great place to walk around, check out the shops and restaurants in the area and maybe get an ice cream after dinner and check out the people wandering around. We went by the Theater and caught some kids practicing their modern dance routine. I loved it!

Many cafes and restaurants surround this square which has beautiful gardens, flowers, benches and good people watching. the bandstand in the centre is home to entertainment in the afternoons and evenings. The surrounding homes and shops are well maintained with brightly painted facades. It's an oasis in the middle of a busy town centre.

All around the plaza is full with restaurants, some of them a little expensive but there are a few options to choose from. There are also cafes.
The thing about the place is that at least during friday, Saturday and Sunday they may have different musicians in the area, maybe a little bit of jazz or rock, it just depends on who is playing.
And if you feel like doing some shopping this could also be the place to find a few things, look for the women that sell rebozos...

This is not the plaza in front of the cathedral! This plaza is being historically renovated, and it's loaded with art galleries, sidewalk dining, and really good musicians. If you like beautiful, walkable urban spaces, this is for you!
