Sunday brunch is by far the best meal of the week for me. And here at Las Palomas (Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan) is the tops. Sunday brunch is a champagne brunch, and it always feels like a special meal here. In addition to the resort vacationers, this place on Sundays is filled with what looks like affluent Mazatlatecos come here after church. They make the best underline BEST green chilaquiles ever!. If the Chicken in poblano cream sauce is on the menu DO NOT miss!. I can skip the postres, but I love the buffet on Sunday. During the week, the buffet is less, but again it appears to this gringo that this is where business men come for breakfast. I've been here when the Lions club or Rotary clubs are having meetings over breakfast. It really is the best breakfast in Mazatlan. It simply cannot be missed. Ask for Fernando, he is a fantastic waiter. Juan, they're all great.

“Excellent Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

We visited this restaurant during their Surf and Turf (Mar y Tierra) dinner. My mom was not sure if she wanted to have steak so our waiter, Gonzalo, recommended a fish and shrimp dish. He told her she would not regret it. We decided to stay and we are glad we did. We all had the filet mignon and shrimp while my mom had the fish and shrimp. Both dishes were delicious as well as the cauliflower cream soup. Also, Gonzalo was an excellent waiter. He was very accommodating and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We never miss the Sunday brunch at Pueblo Bonito when we are in Mazatlan or Cabo San Lucas. Great food, service and atmoshphere. They are very generous with the champagne too!

“WATCH YOUR BILL !!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2009

We have been here recently for the third time. Staff remembered us, service good(not quite as good as previously). We were there on BBQ night which was slightly overpriced but still not bad. Problem came at bill-time when our waiter G stuck an extra US$24 on the cost of the wine. When I politely asked for the wine list he disappeared for good. Ten minutes later I flagged down J(head-waiter) and asked him to fix the error. He also left, the wine steward Al then appeared to say the cashier had made a mistake. G finally reappeared after 20 mins, with the cost of the wine NOW ONLY OVER BY $9 !!! Third time it came back correct with some last-minute pleas for a tip and help with a "good table" for breakfast. Be very careful and read your bill carefully. These guys will be very eager to be your friend and then screw you over. This is a high-class hotel and one imagines Pueblo Bonito Management would appreciate not this kind of behaviour that belongs more in a timeshare presentation !
