“Very Accomodating”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

Wonderful location on the beach in Mazatlan with extremely accomodating waiters. Godd food at a reasonable price but at some times difficult to get immediate seating so patients is a virtue....but worth the wait!

“Great Sunsets”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2013

We have been visiting Mazatlan for years and always come back to Cilantros for the service and atmosphere. This is a great place for sunsets and Spanish coffee. We always try to sit inOscar's section. He is gracious and funny when he gets to know you. He adds to a great experience.

“Beautiful restaurant”

I only had an appetizer there, but it could have been cardboard for all I cared. The location was incredible.

“Seafood on the beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

This was our third year in Mazatlan. And we go to Cilantro's at least twice each year. Very good food and service. If the timing is right you can watch the sun go down from your table. It is right on the beach! The hotel here is great also.

“Magic.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

Have been to this place before, always had some issues at bill time, which up till now was able to manage, usually asking for the menu for a price check. Big note of the menu which says cash is not accepted....this says something in itself.

Meal prices and food were reasonable. We were not on the AI-plan.

Ordered a bottle of Undurraga Chard 330 pesos, one of the cheaper whites......had a good look before ordering because the prices were ridiculous. Wine list was cream coloured but this page was in white paper inserted into the wine list. The bottle was the same stuff served as the house wine at PB Emerald Bay, screw top, drinkable but not great. At bill time we were billed 530 pesos for a bottle of Undurraga Reserva Chard. When I asked for the wine list again to check IT WAS A DIFFERENT LIST, with no regular Chardonnay even listed.

Waiters German and Ivan insisted I had ordered the Reserva for 530. I know I did not but what was there to do ? What I am implying sounds very unlikely, but I believe this is the case.

Anyway, got screwed out of 200 pesos, but never again.
