Panama is a wonderful place to stop for bakery goodies as well as meals. We especially like to stop in the evenings on our walks and get the next morning pasteries. It is beautiful in there with the gorgeous cakes and pies as well as cookies, donuts and rolls.

Tasty diner where locals go to have breakfast, lunch or diner. I had some "Huevos rancheros", coffee and orange juice. All was very tasty, good quality and service was friendly. It is not a cheap place but affordable. Don't miss it!

Very consistent. A bit pricier than some places but the food is consistently good and desserts are to die for.

Ok, let me start by saying that my wife asked me to write this review because she cannot believe this is NOT ranked as the number 1 restaurant in Mazatlán...

First of all this place is open all day, but it's highly recommended that you visit either for breakfast (which is outstanding) or lunch. We have personally never been there for dinner, so we cannot make a good call.

Their menu is SO wide that I am sure there is something for everyone. If you can't find something you like, then I am pretty sure that there's something wrong with you!

They serve from very Mexican style dishes, with stuff like salsas, tortillas, and dishes with chicharrón and lengua to the american style omelettes and pancakes. Their coffee is really worth trying. There is also a kids menu, with "fun" dishes for them.

Now, there is some stuff to keep in mind. First of all the place is busy 99% of the time. You really got lucky if you didn't have to wait in line. Luckily the waiting time is never that long. I would say on average you'll get seated in the next 10 minutes.

Second, this is "Family-Mexican Diner" so no booze of any kind here. No beer, no wine, nothing. If having a cold one is a must for you, stay away.

I really want to say that this place gets HIGH marks for service and employee attention. I have probably NEVER been to a mexican place ran as neatly and efficiently as "Panamá". They have a huge staff, and everybody is perfectly groomed, they know their jobs and they treat customers well.
