My family recently stayed at this property in Manzanillo. What an excellent value! The property in very well maintained, which is not easy to do in a tropical environment. When we arrived, Luis Medina at the Front Desk, greeted us kindly and has excellent English skills. He is very knowledgeable about the property and the Priority Club features. He checked on us throughout our stay.. The on-site manager, Dieter, was very hospitable to us and also has excellent English.

The room was large and well lit. The bathroom was also large and very very clean. No visible mildew. The A/C worked well and kept us comfortable. Everything was working well in the room.

The pool area was great and even has a playground area for small children. The pool itself was large and the water was very clean, being maintained every day.

Breakfast in the morning was a surprise to have a buffet with good tasting items. We had only expected a continental breakfast. The servers were very attentive and also spoke English.

The free WiFi allowed some work to still be done while relaxing. You can spend more in Manzanillo but you would be hard-pressed to find a better value. The money you save you can easily take a taxi or car to the beach and have plenty left over to go to a nice restaurant.

We will stay here again when going to Manzanillo. Well done Holiday Inn Express!

Room Tip: We were on the Priority Club floor, the third floor. There were cookies and fresh fruit there after 5:00 p.m. on the weekdays.

Ihave just spent 8 nights at this hotel. It is in the port area, do not let this put you off. I had a suite on the 6th floor overlooking the port area. Somthing to see all the time, and the sunsets are out of this world. The hotel is immaculate, the staff are friendly, helpfull and very obliging. The pool area is so clean, and it is also very quiet not lost okf kids, and noise. The breakfast buffett is a delight not the biggest I have ever had but great! Well all this for about $80 US a night and you can see why I am enthusing. You are about 4 mikes from the old town centre, and 2 miles from some great beaches and very clean water in which to swim. Very comfortable beds, pillows and a total pleasure to stay.

We just returned from a six day trip to Manzanillo. We stayed at the Holiday Inn using Reward nights. Overall the hotel met our expectations. The front desk staff (Luis, Fransisco and Xiomara)spoke English well and were very helpful and accommodating. We had a quiet room on the second floor. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were great. We did not have a fridge in our room and thought it would be convenient to have one so we simply called the front desk and they wheeled one into our room within minutes. The bathroom had a large shower. The hotel has a nice pool area with lounge chairs and a child friendly shallow extension suitable for children. There was also a slide and swing set at the far end of the pool that the young children seemed to enjoy. Each morning the free breakfast included a variety of choices from scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, a variety of mexican hot dishes, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, toast, juices, tea and coffee. Each day many of the dishes were the same but there was also one or two new meats or mexican dishes offered with the name of the dish well labelled. The hotel was busy yet the staff efficiently kept up with the supply of food and made sure both the inside and outside tables were available to guest arriving for breakfast. Although breakfast was posted to end at 10:30 the staff did not hurry guest out of the breakfast area. There was Wi Fi available throughout the hotel and at one point when we were having difficulty with it they came and fixed it promptly. There were also three desktop computers available in the foyer to use for 1/2 hour intervals. The fitness center had two treadmills, an elliptical machine and a stationary bicycle. This hotel is geared toward business coming from the port and is not near any beaches but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel and for 7 pesos (60 cents) one can ride a bus to almost any where. We often rode all the way to Miramar beach and enjoyed riding with the locals. We also took cabs which are inexpensive (about 90 pesos ...7 dollars to Miramar beach which was our favorite) There is a convenience store about a block away but other than that there were not any restaurants close by. There is a bank on the same property as the hotel. If we were to return to Manzanillo I would definitely consider returning to this clean modern hotel where the manager and his staff are friendly and eager to serve. There is free shuttle service to the airport which is about a 40 minute drive.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 224 at the end of the hallway on the second floor. The view was not great but it was very quiet.

I stayed 3 nights with my family at this nice hotel in Manzanillo, we really enjoyed our stay, our rooms were very clean, breakfast was ok every morning, staff services are great they gave us some tips about places to go, the manager suggested us to visit a place called "La Boquita", there's a huge beach full of restaurants, food is delicious there and you can swim into the sea as if it was a swimming pool, the best if you are traveling with kids. I recommend this hotel and we will go back for sure!!
