Teresina's, an outdoor trattoria style restaurant near the soccer field, is a new find for us and so far the best Italian we've had in Huatulco this trip. Most of the 8 at dinner ordered pizza and caprese salad. A few opted for spaghetti Bolognese and fresca insalata. I ordered gnocchi Bolognese. The insalata fresca was enormous (easily for 4) and so fresh it reminded me of my nonna's right from the garden, and the gnocchi almost as good as hers. Definitely the best I've had in a long time. Everyone raved about their dinner. Several are repeat visitors just in the past couple of weeks. I know we'll be. As others have said it's not on the zocolo, but worth the time to find. Pasta's better than Giordanio's. The pizza selections are more extensive than Rigoletto's (although our pizza margherita at Rigoletto's the other night was great! -- new owners since we were there a few years ago - sad to see the bakery's gone).
