Stopped this morning for cup of coffee and yogurt with fruit. Very good! Enjoyed the cool morning! Granola was very tasty and husband enjoyed his omelet.

Well many good things to say about this place!
First of all the Cafe is operaded for the owner which is a sweet girl!
the have been doing this for 25 years so they know exactly how to make the coffee.
They have their own plantations so the coffee is fresh and the price is super good.
They sale also snacks and some tipical mexican food!
Some days per week they have live music or show in the gazibo
FANTASTIC PLACE!

We visit this open air cafe often and have never been disappointed. It's a beautiful place to enjoy a cup of coffee, have a bite to eat and listen to the live music. The atmosphere is friendly, inviting and relaxed. First and third Sat. of the month the cafe hosts an Organic Market--this is not to be missed, locals bring fresh produce, flowers, drinks etc. to sell. Salvador (owner of the cafe) gives tours each hour explaining the different produce items for sale. Wonderful way to spend a Sat. morning.

During a recent stay in Huatulco, my family had occasion to enjoy several meals at Café Huatulco, located in the town square near the docks. Owned and managed by Salvador López, his wife Judith Juárez and their daughter Arima, this little café is well shaded by lovely tropical trees and surrounded by the picturesque buildings of one of the cleanest, most beautiful towns in Mexico. The coffee, grown on the nearby family plantation, is rich and aromatic; I had many cups of cappuccino and Americano, each as full-bodied as the last. Fresh-squeezed juice or fruit accompany the many breakfast platters, of which I highly recommend the omelet and the tamal de mole. Lunch and dinner options range widely and are equally tasty... I wouldn't leave without having a tlayuda and either a cold beer or agua de jamaica. Fantastic food, atmosphere and service.

Owner Salvador is quite a character ~ he is an absolute wealth of information about Mexico and, in particular, Huatulco. The family owns a coffee plantation so the coffee you get is of supreme quality and grown locally. The setting of the outdoor restaurant is placed in the middle of a square with parrots serenading you (netting to protect any falling debris) and a few short steps to the ocean. Café Huatulco also hosts an organic market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Make sure to take some coffee beans home with you!
