This is a cool little place actually inside the gazebo/bandstand in the La Cruz town square. We only had toast and coffee (several times) there were some tempting menu items to try sometime. The outside seating has shade, bird sounds, cafe music and local vibe is all around you, but it was not too busy. More people there in the evening. One morning after coffee here, we looked the Saturday organic farmers market (with lots of Oaxaca Sierra Madre coffees for sale!). The market surrounded the cafe in the square but we missed the live music there later that day. Cafe staff are very friendly and in the preparation area they are pro baristas.
We are just finishing off the Pluma coffee we brought home, gonna miss it when it's gone. Cafe Huatulco is a gem of a spot, we met some Canadians living/working in Huatulco at the cafe, that's a pretty good sign you are in the right place. Felt sorry for the many cruise ship passengers put on buses beside cafe one day, you missed a great attraction!
