“Nice experience, NYC drinks prices...”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

We went last october, in halloween weekend. And i saw a very mixed groups of people, young, mature, well dressed, normal dressing attire for clubbing. Some ones not. The entrance was very easy, the concept of the club is the same as many years ago. Enough dance floor, lights moving nice. The music in the screens was the same as the one to dance. Usually they never match. Drinks are jot cheap, but they are safe drinks. It worths the cash expense, well or credit card charge... I had a great time. Went twice in a 4 days visit!

“Baby O was a big disappointment”
Reviewed July 9, 2008

We had heard of Baby O for a long time and were so excited to finally be going. The first night we tried was a Tuesday and were surprised that it was closed. So we went to Palladium instead. We tried Baby O again on Thursday and got there at 10:30, the time it was advertised to be open. A security guard very gruffly told us to come back in one hour, that it wasn't opening till 11:30. He was quite rude about the way he told us! But we'd heard such great things so we waited and went back. When we walked in we were seated on two stools with no backs. After we ordered our drinks, we looked around. There were only about 15 customers in the whole place. Our seats were uncomfortable, so we asked if we could move a few feet behind us to empty seats that were sort of like booths with cushioned backs to them. There were many of those kind of seats sitting empty all over the nightclub. We were told "No!" that those seats were for groups of four only because two padded stools were in front of the small booth. We were incredulous because so many were empty and hardly anyone was in the club! We stayed for two hours and those seats never filled up! In fact, most of the seats in the club stayed empty. It was freezing cold and we were shocked by the arrogant attitude. Also, as I went to the ladies room I could see how badly stained the carpet was. This was the "premiere club" I'd heard so much about? It was such incredibly bad customer service to deny us comfortable seats when they weren't even close to being used! We were elegantly dressed, by the way, and when we went to Palladium were treated wonderfully and given one of the best seats in the house. We loved Palladium, but would NEVER go back to Baby O!

“greatest club ever”
Reviewed June 1, 2006

The other review had some truth to it. It is tough to get into Baby'o but once you do get in, WOW. Awesome jungle/cave like atmosphere. The DJ mixes a perfect mix of dance music, 80's, and local Mexican music. The women are unbeleivable and always outnumber the guys. The food is great especially just before the sun comes up. Try the taco's and chocolate milk (Quik). Dance until noon. Great times.

“Baby O's in Acapulco too smug/exclusive for its own good!”
Reviewed January 1, 2006

This place was recommended by some for a night in Acapulco. I was there this week and saw a scene that I have never seen before, a set of smug doormen who basically let their friends in and no-one else, Americans were excluded, as were other non-nationals, which I can not understand. I was there with my two 19 year old daughters. We were dressed appropriately also.

Why have a club that is open to the public yet no-one can get in, so much for exclusivitiy. This was rediculous. The doorman just looked right past us for their friends, we waited an hour and wasted an hour by any standards. So we went down the street to another club, waited ten minutes and were in. That is how it is supposed to be, tied to occupancy and diversity.

We ran/met some other Americans who told us that they had similar experience on other nights too. I guess that I am writing this to share the experience and concern with others and to tell them to not even waste their time trying to go to such a place.
