Never get enough of this beautiful and natural attraction.

Watch it during the day, sunset or night, everytime you are going to be impressed. This is my third time in Acapulco, and after arriving to my hotel *Mishol* the firts thing that wanted to do is to La Quebrada.

It is also a good place for meeting real mexicans.

“Always spectacular and breathtaking.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

This is the one sight to which I am always happy to take visitors to Acapulco. Having actually stood on edge of the diving patform once, I have seen up close the bravery that these guys need to actually throw themselves off the 30 something meter cliff.
You can watch the dive surrounded by Mexican and foreign tourists up and down the Quebrada steps, or pay for an over-priced drink and watch it from the Mirador Hotel bar, or you can rent a yacht down town and watch from the ocean which might or might not be fun depending on how calm it is.
However you decide to do it, please just DO IT!!!

There is a divine Trinity about La Quebrada Acapulco:

1. It is an incomparable place for the view of the sunset,
2. It is a magnifiscent scenario for romance,
3. The show of the divers is just amazing and flamboyant. Definitely worth for the little you pay for!

With this in mind, my girlfriend and I headed for la Quebrada after spending the day at the Bay and a nice lunch of sea-food. Now here is the thing: to see how 5 or 6 guys come down the stairs to climb down the rocky way, then swim across the big tide and climb up without any rope or climbing gear like total professionals to finally dive in olympics style, this is just something you have to see and witness for yourself.

The dangers of what these men do are incredibly high, in an instant of doubt and miscalculation (they have to wait for the high tide to dive in) means immediate death!

It is something I literally fell for!

“Daredevil divers”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We finished the day in Acapulco by going to Quebrada to see the divers who have one performance around 1 pm, and three shows later at night in the dark. They charge 40 pesos (USD4) to watch the performance, paid in advance to a guy selling tickets. People dispersed when the ticket seller came round. Our vantage point was a public viewing area built on one side of the small bay where the divers jump from a different side. There was piped music and a Spanish commentary. The youngest diver was 7 years old, about which his proud grandmother, who was standing next to us, informed us. They dive from three different stages from the cliff, and reach these by climbing up the cliff face from the sea. Although being told the performance would be at 7pm, then 7.20pm, the show actually started at 7.40pm. This performance is quite impressive, not least because of the height of the cliffs from which they jump, but also due to the narrow gap between the cliffs into the sea.
