“First Restaurant i ever give a negative review like this”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

Based on previous reviews on tripadvisor, 2 couples and children decided to go here. We had our guide taking us there. my first mistake is to think it is in Acapulco. It is far away, which cost you already $40 round trip or more. We wanted to have dinner enjoying the sunset. what we got was a dirty place. the restuarant/motel came to us with a big fish and a lobster. she explained about the dish and she did not give us more choices. We asked about meat, she said that she did not have any; and them she changed her mind...
we asked for some appetizers: she told us about avocado. the four of us love avocado on a regular basis. we did not like this one. it was very spicy. They had put a table with a nice table clothe by the beach. we were the only ones eating. they were some mexican people around though. Then, our nightmare started. We realized that where we were; there were hundreds of ants. in fact, they were all over the beach. My guess is that the sand in the beach part of the restuarant was greasy and with food and they were looking for it. And then, we were attacked by hundreds of mosquitos. my wife and the other wife had hundreds of mosquito bites. two of the children had mosquito bites. we left right away, we paid for the food and left. i love typical restaurants in every city that i go, but this was really a s***hole. If you want typical Mexican food, go to "la Tortuga" en Acapulco, we had a great lunch, for a good price. i will recommned to stay away from this place as much as you can

“Wonderful lunch of red snapper, seated in the sand”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

We had read other reviews of this restaurant and wanted to try it for ourselves. We had the red snapper, lobster and shrimp and ALL WAS delicious. We sat at a table in the sand right on the beach facing the ocean. What fun and good food! Don't forget to try the fried bananas for dessert!

“Too far from Acapulco”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Before I visited this restaurant, I had read all reviews. Then I was so excited to be there..
OK. I stayed the Calinda hotel, 10 mins far from Centro of Acapulco. From my hotel, it took almost 2 hours to go to this restaurant. It's 50kms!
When we arrived there, we were tired much. Even though we were hungry, we couldn't enjoy food.
Food was fine, and service was also fine. But I'd better go to Caleta beach to have fresh seafood. From Centro to Caleta, it takes just 10 minutes, and much fun..
This restaurant have a hotel, and it look good, specailly for kids. If you stay this hotel, you can enjoy more this restaurant.

Our guide Sebastian arranged a dinner for us. They are usually a lunch restaurant. We got to sit on the beach & view the sunset while eating snapper lobster & jumbo shrimp. Romantic
