The employees took over this restaurant some time back and they are doing a great job with both the food and service. We had last visited 4 years ago but it was still just as wonderful as before. But it is a local place not usually known to all tourists. Check it out if you like local flavors!

super friendly service, excellent tortilla soup, and lots of pickled veggies and chips to start with. easy to find on foot, and rather close to the holiday inn. i hardly like shrimp, but the combination of their shrimp, fish, and spinach all baked together was delicious. this place could turn me into a camarones connoisseur in a heartbeat...

The waiters who are now also the owners really make this place fun. The food is quite tasty.... if you like spicy, try the tortilla soup. The complementary spiced veggies placed on the tables for appetizers are also a plus.

Returned and found that Gustavo & Ruffino had taken over the restaurant. The red snapper was excellent as were the chili relanos. Loved the coconut ice cream. With the departure of the previous owner it is obvious that the location is much cleaner.

We chose this restaurant after reading the reviews on trip adviser and we weren't disappointed. Gustavo went above and beyond to make us happy. He is one of the owners and take a lot of pride in his establishment. It's a modest place with white linen table cloths and real napkins. We had the Red Snapper, Shrimp sauteed with peppers and garlic, the Tortuga salad (avocado, tomatoes, salt and oil), fish topped with shrimp and the shrimp crepes. For dessert, Flan and Kahlua & cream drinks. It was all delicious and we left very satisfied. The portions are Med/Large so be sure to arrive hungry. We went back the next morning for breakfast which was just, OK. I would give it 2.5 stars out of five. Typical Mexican breakfast . The Orange juice was more like a orange drink. The price was good, though, and food delivered fast.

Many times you go out for a meal (especially in touristy places) and after your meal you leave feeling robbed and taking advantage of. You won't get that feeling here. The food is good quality and worth the money. It was a wonderful night.
