“One of the best meals, anywhere”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

My partner is a long-time restaurant guy, so we've had some amazing meals all over the world. The meal we had at Zibu for my birthday in October ranks up there as one of the absolute best. All the fresh flavors of the ocean with a creative twist that you'd expect to find in New York or San Francisco, a great view, and IMPECCABLE service.

Not inexpensive, but if you're looking to have a memorable and intimate dinner with your special someone, try Zibu.

“Zibu”

The service and food were excellent. We have been there twice and plan on returning again. You have a beautiful view of the bay, especially at night.

“Still the best food in Acapulco, with outstanding service”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

I have been coming to Acapulco for nine years each February, and for the past five years, I have eaten here, and have never been disappointed. Zibu is not just one of the best restaurants in Mexico; it is among the finest in the whole world. This Mex-Thai fusion place has a unique, elegant jungle ambience, situated on the side of a mountain, overlooking Puerto Marques Bay. It is a gorgeous little piece of Asia in tropical Mexico. Everything about Zibu is an experience, from the upscale decor to the attentive staff, all of whom treat each guest like royalty. The spicy Mex-Thai shrimp, chicken and beef medallions are sumptuous appetizers. The breads, some of which are filled with cheese, are unlike anything you have ever tasted. The lobster and steak are fabulous. For two years in a row, Carlos has been our waiter, and he is the perfect gentleman. He caters to your every whim and is also friendly and willing to tell you about the best choices on the menu. Zibu is a special place with sinfully indulgent food you will never forget. It is expensive but worth it. Treat yourself and do not miss this must-visit place when you are spending time in Acapulco.

“Special Evening”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Very elegant, great service and food. Deserves its #1 TripAdvisor rating for Acapulco. More pricey than expected, but OK for a very special occasion.

“Intimate setting”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Zibu was a very good restaurant but realize that it is also very expensive. It is small with only a few tables (perhaps 6-8 tables). The restaurant itself is perched on the side of a "mountain" overlooking the bay. The three of us all ordered different items but shared among each other. Everything was very good. Please remember if you need efficient, clean transportation, you would want to contact Roberto Alercon, a wonderful tour guide and transportation specialist. He went above and beyond the entire week for us to make sure that all of our traveling, touring/sightseeing, dining out, etc. was without any type of problem or "hiccups"!
