We visit this restaurant once or twice a year annually on our Acapulco vacation. This Texas-style restaurant is close to all the major hotels in the Condesa section. The salads and appetizers are satisfactory, but nothing special. My friend tried the beef ribs this year and was not impressed. However, I always get the shrimp and whether it is breaded or grilled, it is consistently wonderful. The place is not as budget-priced as it used to be, and you definitely need to ask for an English-speaking waiter before being seated, but this is a fairly inexpensive evening for people yearning for American comfort food and scrumptious shrimp.
