I have eaten here at least 50 times and it is always good. It is a bit upscale and more expensive my Mexican standards, but worth it if you can afford it. Great service, but it gets crowded late evening.

What can I say, this was a traditional mexican Cantina when mexican cantinas were known for excellent greasy keep you sober food. They went full remodel for the general audience in this second restaurant and boy did they succeed.

The ambiance is beautiful with the modern feel to the traditional mexican cantina. It not only excels in it's food, but it's service is also second to none. DO expect to wait in line on weekends or basically every day over lunch or dinner rush. Try to make a reservation!!!!

The food is VERY good and has very traditional mexican platters and appetizers varied to please every taste. Do try the Artichoke with it's special sauce, and don't forget to end it with their HUGE signature Pistachio cake(expensive but worth it).

Is it expensive? Yes, but only if you want to. You can go all out and get the perfectly cooked Ribeye with sea-salt Steak or you can go for appetizers and be happy about it. I love to go for only appetizers, loving the Fajita Barbacoa, the Chicharron in Salsa Verde among every single appetizer and trust me, they will make a full lunch which will leave you more than satisfied.

Go for the traditional Cantina experience and try the appetizers only, or go for the splurge and get the 1lb Rib-eye, your will love any of them. Many have tried to copy but none have succeeded.....

I had a truly memorable meal here. We started with a ceviche with mango and habanero to start and it was great. For may main course I chose pulpo with black rice (grilled octopus with paella style rice). It was the best pulpo I have ever had and the rice was perfect. To me this is the mark of a great restaurant - to take a simple dish and serve it perfectly. For dessert we split a banana pie recommended by our excellent waiter. it was also outstanding. This is now my favorite restaurant in Monterrey --- and that is saying something as there are many great options. Highly recommended. Also reasonably priced for such an excellent establishment

this is simply the best restaurant in Monterrey, it is classy yet relaxed, the perfect place for business dinner and really good for couples too, my wife just loves it.

Been there maybe 10 times in the last year, and has never let me down. The grilled octopus with black rice is really good, the tuna sashimi, the red snapper "al pastor", the mahi mahi "zarandeado", the artichokes, the cauliflower, the rib eye, I really have not tasted anything that didn't like...

very very much recommended

By far, one of the finest restaurants I have eaten in abroad. The price is higher than others around, but everything is top-notch... service, food, ambiance. The meet was very tendera nd juicy, the salad dishes extraordinary gourmet food. You do need a reservation or you could wait a long time.
