“Magical village”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Just a very nice village to visit, I would recommend staying on the hotel on main square. Many outdoor activities around there

“Will this magic town survive?”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

It was officially declared "a magic town", what means its a tiny mexican town with old flavour and worth a visit. Then, 3 years ago, the area became dangerous because if was caught in the middle of the drug dealers war. It´s slowly coming back to life.

“Lovely Little City”
Reviewed December 13, 2012

I love this town! It reminds me of old mexico with the old church and little plaza and the setting of the mountains in the background. It is a great change from the modern monterrey and is worth a day trip or a trip for breakfast!

“Insecurity”

Insecurity. Drug dealers are there and passing through all day. You cannot visit it at night. It's dangerous. People are robbed and kidnapped

“Beautiful setting”
Reviewed June 13, 2012

I used to live around "La villa" and my daughter as married from the beautiful church. It is a nice trip out of the city and only about 30 minutes to get there. Nice restaurant Las Palomas. After looking around take a trip to Horsetail Falls, Plan to visit during the morning and daytime. Market in Los Cavazos on the way with many "Mexican Curios"
