They came to Sinaloa to build the railroad, stayed in the region and mixed (unusual in Chinese groups) to start a culinary tradition on Chinese food Sinaloa style. There are many very good, reputated Chinese restaurants in the Northwestern part of Mexico. Tasty food, with a local aftertaste due to vegetables and seeds adapted to original recipies. Tai Pak has several locations in town. Chop suey is a favorite among locals, and they would still leave their own kitchen to eat at Tai Pak. Huge dining room, big tables were people share plates.
