“Best of the best in Todos Santos”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

This super charming hotel right outside the little town square has only a handful of casitas and their are no bad rooms. Each is charming and quiet with a big bath. The pool is peaceful, the complimentary breakfast is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the nearby beaches are gorgeous. The proprietress Jenny is charming, an expert in the area and its attractions, and was happy to make recommendations about must-see and-do stops on our holiday.

The food in town is great, and not only the Mexican--there are wonderful Italian, pizza, and Asian restaurants too. There are a handful of great shops with local art and crafts, a couple little boutiques worth visiting, and one or two good import/export places as well.

Todos Santos is perfect if you're looking for a do-nothing holiday with a gorgeous back drop, and we could not have asked for a better hotel that Hotelito. We're already thinking about when we can go back!

This is my 20th year visiting Todos Santos and we have been staying at The Hotelito since it opened in 2007. An excellent value for such high quality. The staff are wonderful. An outdoor kitchen was added for use by folks who stay in the casitas. This is great for cutting up fresh fruit from the local markets or cooking a full meal.

We love walking to the beach to watch the sunset. Returning from Palm Beach each day, the pool is a welcome sight for the kids. I appreciate the quiet on the entire property.

Can't say enough wonderful things about it.

Just returned from spending christmas and new years at el hotelito and I can't say enough good things about Jenny, her staff and the hotel. The perfect chic boutique hotel experience, exactly the kind of place I wouldn't have been able to dream up if I had wanted to. The hotelito has enough style and privacy for the jet set crowd but so amazingly unpretentious and welcoming no matter who you are you won't ever want to leave. Its such an incredible contrast to all those tacky resorts, each suite is beautifully done in its own style, (all accredited to Jenny's interior design eye). Perfect hidden holiday getaway - a little baja surf town, a little parker palm springs, a little Moroccan riad. I fell in love with hotelito, jenny and todos santos and I will definitely be back regularly. Brett Ramey

Room Tip: We stayed in casa rosa and loved it. Our friends were in casa azul, also adorable and there is a go...

After a visit to Todos Santos, it is easy to understand why it is called a magical puebla. Set in the midst of the Baja California desert about one and a half hours drive from the bustle of Cabo, Hotelito is truly an escape from the hectic daily life most of us lead. I had the good fortune of spending twelve nights at Hotelito in November of 2013 and have only positive things to report. The location is perfect, about a three minute drive from the town of Todos Santos, just far enough to feel like you have really escaped yet close enough to be convenient. The grounds are immaculate and well kept. Jenny, the owner of Hotelito, could not be more kind or helpful. Her staff is delightful and accommodating to all traveler's needs. I was on the property as a single female and felt totally safe at all times. There is an outdoor yoga room, a peaceful pool lounge, bbq facilities and an unpopulated white sand beach nearby. The rooms are large and well-appointed with chic, bohemian décor. Jenny has a fine eye for design and detail throughout the property. The use of bright colors set against the desert background is spectacular. There are many options for lodging in the Todos Santos area but none quite as charming and unique as Hotelito. Coupled with the reasonable room rates and the overall experience I highly recommend Hotelito as the top choice. I cannot wait to return the tranquility Hotelito provides. Thank you Jenny for such a memorable stay!

Room Tip: There are four hotel rooms that can be rented individually as well as a house with three rooms that...

We spent two nights at Hotelito in mid-December 2013. It's a charming place, with very well-decorated and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Many thoughtful touches are provided, such as robes, beach or pool towels, hammocks, outdoor seating areas, barbeque grills, and a noise-cancelling machine. (Don't worry, the property is in a very quiet area, but a rooster might decide it's time to crow before you agree. :) Nice pool and lounge area as well.

Unfortunately, the owner Jenny was away during our stay, but the place seemed to run well even in her absence. Her local staff might be short on English, but they're long on charm and great service.

We would happily come back to Todos Santos and El Hotelito. We recommend this place highly. It's a bargain!

Room Tip: They all looked great.

I left Hotelito 4 days ago and the warm glow remains...unaffected by the current wintery greyness of London. 4 days there were pure bliss. My next stay will certainly be much longer - you literally feel the stresses of life melt away with the beautiful surroundings, quiet beaches with turtles, whales and friendly horses grazing nearby, stunning sunsets, lovely restaurants, just the right sized town, etc, etc.

I'm afraid I might bore people with stories of this gem I discovered with friends. We stayed in both the hotel and attached gorgeous 3 bedroom house... all very tastefully decorated. If Jenny and her team were not so amazing, I would definitely not be writing a review for fear of too many people discovering Hotelito. I'm selfish that way ;)

Jenny has set out to create a 5star Bed and Breakfast and she has more than achieved it. it was a magical gettaway, so relaxing, comfortable and beautifully done yet you felt you were having a rustic hidden away holiday, away from all the nonsense, the resorts and the other tourists. We stayed in the Chilicote House next door which was perfect. a huge 3 bedroom house with various balconies, terraces, and a garden. We caught a Marlin with the fishermen and then BBQed it back at Chilicote. a short walk to the deserted wild beach with its gorgeous sunsets and sea turtles. a slightly longer walk into town with the Hotel California, art galleries and great restaurants. paradise!

Room Tip: if there are 4 of you, grab the Chilicote house! it's such a good deal!
