We kept seeing fenced in areas at a couple of beaches in the Todos Santos area and wondered what was going on. We also saw people coming and going from them on their dune buggies with ice chests and finally found out that they are taking care of the turtle eggs to return them when they hatch. Apparently, the locals often collect the eggs and eat them so the numbers were diminishing. So glad to see this happening!!!
