“Best Chinese food place in Southern Cal / Baja region”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2011

This place has the best Chinese food in the region (including Southern California). It is Hong Kong style place. The food is excellent, as well as the service. The place is always looked after by the owner or his family. It is located in the nicer part of Tijuana only 10 minutes from the border. There is private parking with security in the back. They have private rooms for parties or executive meetings. Order Pollo Calcetin even if its not in the menu.

The food is ok, but in general the restaurant is a little bit overrated and expensive. Elegant, fancy place great for special moments/celebrations.

“Best Chinese in TJ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2010

Having spent a great deal of time in TJ, this is may be the only "finer" Chinese restaurant in town. It is definitely pricey compared to the numerous take out places and buffet joints (easy to spend $15-20 per person on food only), but also a whole different zip code in terms of food quality and service. In simple terms, high flavor, low grease, broad selection. Perfect place for a quite dinner or relaxed lunch; fine for business or just a good meal on a night out. Along with Cien Anos, Cheripan, Espadana -- one of the restaurants in TJ that you can count on for a high quality dining experience. Believe it or not -- real, high quality Chinese in Mexico.

“Very good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2009

I have been to Chan's Cuisine several times, while visiting Tijuana. Service was always good; but food, according to me is really good, tasty Cantonese Food. It's not too fancy, but I enjoyed visiting the restaurant every time I would go to Tijuana on business trips.
