I started going to Saverios when they were a nice cozy place in "Plaza Fiesta" food back then was excellent, the problem was that word got around and all of the sudden it got very crowded, they had to expand and eventually move to another location.
My family and me followed to the new location (where casa Plascencia is at the moment) but food wasnt the same, but we still went. When the built there present location we went 2 or 3 times a few years back and food was always ok. Last week went with some friends (not my first pick) and I quickly knew why I hadn't been there for years. Service was bad it took them 20 minutes for a menu, price on wine is 300-400 % more of what a bottle cost, it was a wednesday night, but it was packed. Food took around 40 minutes there was only 3 people in the kitchen for a restaurant that about 200 people eating. Luckly we order the garlic mushrooms and those came fairly quick and there taste was indeed very good. When the food came everything that involved some type of tomato sauce tasted it came right of the can. So my thing is if I am paying 20 dollars for my pasta it better be good, its just pasta with 4 shrimps.
It is an over rated restaurant by locals, so I can't recomend this place of the Plascencia family, UNLIKE the Ceasars Restaurant owned by the same family.
