“Bed service and tasted just out of the can.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2011

I started going to Saverios when they were a nice cozy place in "Plaza Fiesta" food back then was excellent, the problem was that word got around and all of the sudden it got very crowded, they had to expand and eventually move to another location.
My family and me followed to the new location (where casa Plascencia is at the moment) but food wasnt the same, but we still went. When the built there present location we went 2 or 3 times a few years back and food was always ok. Last week went with some friends (not my first pick) and I quickly knew why I hadn't been there for years. Service was bad it took them 20 minutes for a menu, price on wine is 300-400 % more of what a bottle cost, it was a wednesday night, but it was packed. Food took around 40 minutes there was only 3 people in the kitchen for a restaurant that about 200 people eating. Luckly we order the garlic mushrooms and those came fairly quick and there taste was indeed very good. When the food came everything that involved some type of tomato sauce tasted it came right of the can. So my thing is if I am paying 20 dollars for my pasta it better be good, its just pasta with 4 shrimps.
It is an over rated restaurant by locals, so I can't recomend this place of the Plascencia family, UNLIKE the Ceasars Restaurant owned by the same family.

“Excellent food, great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2011

The menu is a mix of mexican/french/italian/mediterranean fare
top quality ingredients... attentive wait staff... great bar...

for starters I recommend the crab/chipotle tostadas, the shredded duck, the grilled octopus, tacos gobernador, beef tongue cazuela, the mezquite oysters, the bone marrow...

for entrees the "retro shrimp", the slow roasted beef ribs, the lamb cooked 2 ways...

for dessert the cheese/membrillo pizzetta or the rustic guayaba tart...

Try it.. it will not disappoint you!! Trust a frequent customer.. me

“Have to go here”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2011

Have been here many times. Have also been to bother restaurant Casa Plascencia, many times. Have not had a bad experience at Villa Saverios. Food is good 99% of the time. Very pretty restaurant, people are polite, service is great, prices are commensurate. Would go again without hesitation.

“World class cuisine and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2010

I have had a late lunch twice. I had fish twice as a main course. The appetizers are outstanding. There is an impressive wine list with a few really affordable good choices.
They are listed with Open Table.
