It was a Friday night and went to La caza club to meet with my friend, which ended up showing with a friend, we all decided to sit down at the bar and have entrees with our wine, we found a great local wine selection and also unexpectedly almost any beer that we could imagine (later found out that they have their own beer store next door) so this was getting better as the night went on, we decided to stay longer and ended up having late diner, I had the grilled octopus, omfg! It was so good, I'm not certain of the exact recipe but the chef was nice enough to explain it to us via FB (we later inquired) service was good, food and drinks were the best, can't think of a better place to end up on a Friday night, would like to visit during lunch time and try their famous catch of the day hear that it's local and wild caught, I'm in for it any day of the week!

La Caza Club is located on the busy corner of Agua Caliente and Miguel Aleman, yet you could pass right by it because the discrete entrance is on the side street. Just look for the orange cones and the valet attendant, and you are in the right place. Chef owner Humberto Aviles is a very talented and creative chef, and the small menu reveals his personal touch in each dish. The vegetable salad includes all of the bounty of the Valle de Guadalupe in your plate, and the beef stews are homey and comforting. The wine list is also small but esoteric in its offering--you will be sure to find a bottle to your taste. The service is kind and efficient, and manager Carlos is particularly welcoming, checking on me throughout the meal and walking me to the valet when I leave.
