A small private home sitting on the corner in a residential neighborhood has been converted to a charming intimate restaurant. Sporting hardwood floors and small vestiges of its former life, the kitchen sends out fresh imaginative dishes without unnecessary frills. It isn't needed. The tuna carpacchio with agua chile is to die for. The fish and chicken entrees caused moans of delight among my lunch companions. Baron Balache wine of Guadelupe Valley is available. The price is such you don't need a special occassion to enjoy this excellent restaurant. But hurry while you can still get a reservation.
