“Five pages”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

Five pages of local, national, (i.e. Mexican) beers.. Wow! Tried half a dozen: lager, a pale ale, a stout, a cider, ...sharing with a friend.... Waitress knowledgeable about the origin, strength - both taste and alcohol content.
The food" pizza, a ribeye sandwhich, both excellent- the rib-eye really tender on cibatta bread, ordered a salad- but they were out??
The décor is dark modern industrial, great for late night,
Will need to return several times to try a few more (dozen) of the brews....

“Baja Craft Beer Tasting Room-42 beers on tap and about 300 more in bottles plus good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2013

This is a brewery style restaurant owned by one of the largest distributors of craft beer in Tijuana. The previous review on 8/5/13 confuses me since it is reviewing wine in house of draft and bottled beer. Some items I have enjoyed from the food menu are excellent mac & cheese with bacon, buffalo chicken pizza, the maragarita pizza, the currywurst served with french fries, pork belly sandwich, and the rib-eye hamburgers. Two other things I like are they have vegetarian options and will provide the wifi code free if it is not on the multiple page beer menu.

Some suggestions for Mexican beer that may be on tap here are Insurgentes Lupolosa is excellent if you like a hoppy IPA, Ramuri Lagrimas Negras is a great chocolate or coffee tasting stout at about 10% abv, Ramuri dubble is also great as is their red ale among other beers they make both in Tj and Los Cabos, all the Cupaca beers from Mexicali are also good, and the suggestions by the usually bilingual staff have been spot on. An excellent option in a bottle for Corona-Pacifico-Modelo type drinkers is Ramuri Diablo Blanco. They also have a wide selection of imported Craft type beers from both the USA and around the world. I would rate the BCB Tasting Room a mid to high 4 all thing considered so I am rounding up to a 5 based on the beer and food for being the first brewery type restaurant in Tijuana with a wide selection of both their own brewed beers and other craft brews beers on tap and in bottles in which I can recommend the food.
Sotano Suizo is another brewery restaurant with excellent bar food including homemade half meter hotdogs and a smaller variety of beer on tao including their own few beers on tap along with mass market butr above average Indo and I believe Tecate on tap (Plaza de Fiest/Zapato across Paseo de Los Heroes from the Commercial Mexicana in Plaza Rio, Closed Monday). Other places that have a wide selection of beer in TJ include Beer Box (in same shopping center as Pampas), Tasca (on 6th street), the Tijuana Brewery for their house beers the food can be very inconsistent (Blvd Fundadores), and a unique new very informal brewer Mamut with good beer for about $1.25 per located in Pedestrian Pasaje Rodriguez located Between Revolucion and Constution and 3rd and 4th streets(closed Sunday).
For wine the previous reviewer could have had a much more wine oriented experience at Panevino Le Bon Vin in (Plaza Roscas on Agua Caliente), or Baja Tierra in Gallerias Hipodromo the shopping center by Estadio Caliente with a Walmart, or possibly LA Cetto Winery Tasting Room which is located right outside the Zona Norte (tolerance zone for prostitution so if you make a wrong turn you may see interesting things) on Canon Johnson where it crosses Constitution..
