This is a fairly new addition to Tijuana’s gastronomic destinations. It’s a sleek, modern, upscale Asian/Baja Med fusion restaurant in the hands of a new generation of Tijuana restaurateurs. Both the kitchen and front of house are in the very capable hands of the daughter and son of the owner of Chan’s Cuisine. The food is prepared with local fresh, organic when possible, sustainable ingredients that are top quality. Dishes tend to be bistro-size and style so one can order several to share. The bar is cozy and they have a couple of signature cocktails that are worth a try and there is a small private dining room available. Service is top-notch. The restaurant is located more or less across from the Grand Hotel Tijuana (twin towers). Some of our favorite dishes are: Pescado Enchiloso, Langosta Mack, Szechuan Rib Eye, Grilled Octopus with Arugula and Kumquats, Shrimp a la Diablo, Truffle French Fries. You’ll spend a little more than expected in Tijuana but it’s well worth it for taste, service and interesting, out of the ordinary dishes.
