Nice little place. Homemade chips are good, not greasy. Guac was good. You get a soup, a chicken cilantro maybe? It was good, just broth and rice. Mole poblano was good, but standard beans and rice accompanyment. My mom did not love her chicken fajitas. Then you get a free sweet tamale. It's a bargain like most in TJ and good, just not exciting to great. I also had the prickly pear juice- nice way to try the nopales cactus if you have not.
Friendly service.

The mole is the best I have had. The mole sauce is rich and tasty. The guacamole is good as is the chicken soup. I highly recommend this restaurant as it is a hidden gem in Tijuana. You get a lot of food for the money and the service is excellent. There is also a man playing the piano which adds to the wonderful atmosphere.

I went here hoping for authentic MExican cuisine. The problem is that ALL food is served off of the buffet. First, the order was done incorrectly. My food came cold -- so cold that I sent it back twice, but they could not get it right. Worst of all, the plate was dirty and the whole place needed a good cleaning. This is my worst experience to date in a restaurant in Tijuana. I did not eat the food, fearing that food kept for hours at a cold temperature could likely result in sickness. I am not overly fussy, but this place was terrible.

Loved the atmosphere in this place bright colours, music and lots of people.
First they come and take your order for drinks, then comes the chicken soup which is amazing just like mums. Then comes the main meal I ordered the enchaladas eith the chicken and mole sauce (moll-aye) sauce Also chocole chilli sauce and it's good.
They then bring you some dessert which is wrapped on a banana leaf that tastes like a boring tapioca
pudding. It was ok.
For dessert when you come out of the restaurant turn right and walk down a block to cafe baristi a fantastic coffee house with desserts and free wifi - the coffee here is as good as you get in Australia made by a real Batista so highly recommend this place.
Dinner cost $28.00 for two people including wine and beer. Coffee down the road for two people was $5.00 usd.
Cab fare from the Marriott to restaurant was $5.00 usd.

The reviews I read before going here were right on the money - terrific food. I've only had the breakfast here and will definitely be going back for the dinner menu. The chilaquiles were some of the best I've had, with salsa verde, revueltos and served with fried potatoes and refried beans. Even the bacon was done properly, and went down well with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice (I saw them make it!)
