This new restaurant is a major addition to San Felipe dining. The chef is from a major city on the mainland, and highly experienced in gourmet cuisine. SF has some surprisingly nice dining options, but this is my new #1.
The interior is new, somewhat spartan, but with a beautiful rock-faced water wall. There's nothing else like it in town.
It's located on a side street next to a nondescript retail store, and thus is easy to miss. Don't.
If you are on the main drag heading toward the Malecon, you will see it on the left, on the second street before the bay. If you are on the Malecon, turn left at the 7/11 onto the main street, walk two blocks on the right side of the road, and turn right after the market/liquor store (Licores Rivera?).
It's slightly pricey for SF, but cheap compared to anywhere in the States.
