“Cheap! And good...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

This is a great place if you are on a tight budget, but also a great place if you just want some very tasty fish and/or shrimp tacos. Watch the surfers while you eat, or rent a surfboard in the next door surf shop and head out yourself.

“The Best Tacos in Baja!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

I'm shocked that this taco stand has not been reviewed yet. I've been coming to Taco Surf since I obtained my driver's license which was about 20 years ago. Back then it was just a husband and wife operation, but now it has been remodeled with a full staff. They serve tacos and tortas either carne asada or al pastor which is from a split which you will not find anywhere stateside.

I don't know what they use to marinate the meat for their asada tacos, but it makes for the perfect taco. The same goes for the al pastor which just melts in your mouth and has the right amount of kick to it. The tacos are prepared in a grilled double wrapped tortilla which gives it a nice crunchy texture to it. The salsa and guacamole is also made fresh on site. There is a small market next door to purchase a beer to go down with it.

Tacos run about $1.10 and tortas are about $3. Try mixing the asada and al pastor to mix things up.

If you don't stop here during your visit to Baja, you'll be doing yourself a great disservice. No other taco stand comes close to taste and service.
