“Very Enjoyable Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2012

We were a party of four and were looking for a moderate priced breakfast. We decided to try Spash Too and were glad we did. Service was friendly and prompt. I had a shrimp omelete which had ample and very tasty shrimp. My wife a Denver omelete and enjoyed it. My wife's sister had the same as my wife and my brother-in-law had the Splash Special which had French Toast, bacon, sausage, and eggs. Lots of food at a great price. We plan a return in the evening to try some of their dinner specialties. Highly recommend.

“Great food, great drinks and music and WONDERFUL staff.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

The original SPLASH is south of Rosarito and a great gathering place of expats. SPLASH TOO is in Playas de Rosarito which is closer to town, same great food and wonderful people.

“NEW SPLASH TOO”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2012

The "original" Splash has opened a second location on the main boulevard just north of Fox Studio (east side of the street) in Rosarito Beach Called "Splash Too".

The menu at "Too" is more extensive than the original. Sammy (the manager) is very personable and attentive. The bar is inviting, friendly and pours a generous drink (just like the original). It's the kitchen that shows the difference between the two operations.

If the original Splash is a "10", Too is a 6 or 7 in the kitchen. The presentation is great, but the cooking simply isn't nearly as good.

I'd recommend this as a sandwich place, but not a full dinner place - which really is a shame.

Hopefully, they will grow to be as good as the original.

“Splash, Too Brings Nicholas' Splash! to Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2012

The owner of Splash!, Nicholas Santos, has opened Splash, Too just south of town. Drive south from the Rosarito Beach Hotel until you see Topanco on the right, beach side. About two or three doors down on the non-beach side, you'll see Splash, Too; it's the same shade of aqua you see on Splash!

Nicholas has kept the most popular items from the menu at Splash! and added a couple more choices. Some of the friendly staff from Splash! are there, and the new additions are equally friendly and will do their best to make you feel at home--they'll remember you the next time you come, too.

This location, of course, does not have the ocean, but it has a nicer dining room and a completely separate bar. You can look in and see the highly efficient kitchen. The back patio has no ocean, but it's sheltered, so there is no wind to content with, and it's a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. Alfredo runs the bar, and he'll make you feel right at home. The live music is in the bar, so it becomes background music in the dining room.

If it's a cloudy day or you just don't feel like driving all the way south to Splash!, you'll find Splash, Too makes an excellent stopping place to enjoy familiar favorites.

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2012

I would say prettty much the same as the original without the scenery. Same group of gringos who seem to enjoy one another's company. Could be anywhere. the stqaff is most eager to please. My baby calamarii wa inedible. Breakfast the next day was fine.
